We love these as an alternative to traditional plastic bags, but the zipper is too strong for the "plastic." Every time we try to open one, the tabs above the zipper break off and we're left trying to pry open the zipper with our fingernails. You have to be very gentle and grab them in just the right place when opening them which makes them fairly inconvenient and definitely not good in a hurry.If they reinforced the tabs at the top so they stopped tearing off every time we opened one, we'd be full converts.

As soon as i used the first one out of the first box I bought, I was sold on these. They are sturdy, two convenient sizes, and work really well for our general needs.(freezing leftover cookies, bread, etc). Knowing that they won't go into the waste stream is a huge bonus. I never have used the non-ecological ones, and now, never will.

I use a lot of zipper bags and was looking for something that it better for the environment. I was glad to get these compostable bags. They are sturdy and better for the environment than plastic baggies. I'll be using these instead of the plastic ones I've been using. Thanks, Full Circle!

These bags are awesome! I've used them to store various items in the fridge and freezer and so far they've held up very well. They are thick and very sturdy and don't seem to leak or let out smells. I am working towards cutting out single-use plastic as much as I can, even the compostable kind. But when I'm in a pinch, I feel better reaching for these, hoping they will decompose in my city's compost facility vs. rotting in a landfill and doing even more harm to the environment.
