WHY WE LOVE IT

We could all use a little less gross and lot less waste. The Fresh Air compost collector lets oxygen move through your organic kitchen waste, slowing down decomposition. The result? A stink-free solution even the neat freak in you can get behind.

WHAT IT’S MADE OF

Recycled plastic, partially recycled steel

We know composting is a much safer practice for the environment, and that's why we've made this compost collector 100% safe for you. No toxic chemicals will be found in this BPA-free recycled plastic.

AT THE CORE

Composting: It’s one helluva multitasker, acting as a natural fertilizer for better yields in your garden, loosening dense clay soils and helping sandy soils retain water without any nasty petroleum-based compounds. It also helps reduce waste in landfills across the country, which receive about 60 million tons of food scraps and yard trimmings every year. Thankfully, every little bit helps, and our Fresh Air bin makes it super easy to start.

What if my thumb is more black than green?

No biggie. Lots of our fans are city dwellers or live in a home without a yard. Composting is becoming more common and your city probably already has a community center where you can donate your scraps. Check out Earth911.com or EPA.gov for info on resources close to you.

I have decided to wait to use it until organic waste will resume being picked up in my area. I really like the size of the container. I did get fruit flies after a couple of days

Long Lasting

I have had my same full circle bin for at least 5 years now. The air circulation keeps the waste from getting soggy which can lead to a bag that starts to break down before you can empty it, talk about a real mess. It’s also super easy to keep clean. I highly recommend purchasing one!

Love this!!!!

I've owned this bin for too many years to remember when I bought it. It's great and obviously very sturdy for the years of multiple times a day that it's used. It's easy to get in to with the one-click flip lid & easy to get the bag out. I like to line the bottom with a paper towel so any clean up is very easy, but it easily rinses off anyway. I have the red one and I'm eagerly waiting for the red to return so I can get one for my trailer.

3rd compost bax

This compost box tops them all. Fine design, have owned it for 5 flawless years, and just today the spring loaded lid no longer springs up. I have requested/ordered a replacement lid. Service to date rated excellent.

Really very good - wish the colors were better.

I've had ours for years. Yes, the wire will break off. No, it's not really a big deal - you can still wrap the bag around the bin and it holds up just fine. Odor control is excellent, and the ribbing on the inside is helpful as well. All of that said, they could certainly improve it with better colors - the green is gaudy and draws way too much attention to itself on my countertop. Not crazy about the white either. Might buy another one in white and combine the two grays... Also, it could be a little less 1990's looking, but now I'm nitpicking. So yeah, my only issues with it are aesthetic - functionally, it's super.
