WHAT IT’S MADE OF
Silicone, recycled stainless steel
We know composting is a much safer practice for the environment, and that's why we've made this compost and scrap collector 100% safe for you. No toxic chemicals will be found in this pint sized silicone bin.
AT THE CORE
It’s one helluva multitasker, acting as a natural fertilizer for better yields in your garden, loosening dense clay soils and helping sandy soils retain water without any nasty petroleum-based compounds. It also helps reduce waste in landfills across the country, which receive about 60 million tons of food scraps and yard trimmings every year. Thankfully, every little bit helps, and our Fresh Air bin makes it super easy to start.
What if my thumb is more black than green?
No biggie. Lots of our fans are city dwellers or live in a home without a yard. Composting is becoming more common and your city probably already has a community center where you can donate your scraps. Check out Earth911.com or EPA.gov for info on resources close to you.

Put it in the freezer and you don't get fruit flies and it's easy to dump in the compost in the morning. Love it.
It’s perfect,my ant problem this summer was awful, but they want go in the frezer.
I needed a solution that could making composting possible during COVID while our farmer's markets and local drop-off locations have been shuttered. A freezer solution was perfect. I freeze the items in this Scrap Happy to then drop off to local friends' compost bins later when I'm able. So, right now the Scrap Happy is overflowing waiting for that magical moment. Being in a city apartment I was worried that this may not fit in my freezer (I have a freezer on top). It fit perfectly.
It is the perfect single-sized compost bin. It hangs conveniently on your lower cabinet door/drawer while in use, and then transitions to the freezer door while waiting to be filled and taken to the outdoor compost bin. Brilliant idea! Easiest way to compost! Every house needs one. No more compost bins on your counter! Full it and then tuck it away in your freezer, it’s that simple! It has become my go-to gift for everyone.
We love to cook fresh food and we compost everything. Before finding this at a local store we were using a counter top container that would get filled and sometimes would take on an odor. After finding this ingenious product, it has made the process of composting our fresh fruit and veggies scraps so much easier since it sits at counter level making it so much easier to move scraps into the Scrap Happy bin. Love this product! and after owning for 4 weeks I have bought a 2nd one.
