Mommy, Where Do Be Goods Come From?

The question you’ve been dreading since you had children -- just kidding! While we don’t have a cool story involving a stork, we do put a lot of thought into how we create our products.

The materials in our products are carefully selected for their durability, giving you more time before each one ends its lifecycle. We choose options that take less energy to produce and cut back on greenhouse gases and harmful chemicals, making them as conscientious as they are long-lasting.

The majority of our products are made of bamboo. Bamboo is super strong and grows really quickly. The kicker? It’s a renewable powerhouse grass that requires zero pesticides and fertilization. Sometimes using plastic in our products is necessary, but when we do it’s always recycled plastic, which means it uses ⅓ of the energy virgin plastic needs for production. If you’ve ever shopped for sponges, or well, basically anything, you’ve probably heard of cellulose. To de-mystify a very chemical sounding word, cellulose is simply squishy sponge alternative that’s 100% plant-based and biodegradable without nasty additions like triclosan.
