WHY WE LOVE IT

The Post Modern is more than just a good-looking compost collector. While it adorns your countertop, its unique air-flow pattern will prevent any funky smells from your food scraps. Odors don’t stand a chance against easy-to-clean stainless steel and a strong-acting activated carbon filter. Do good. Without the bad smells.

DESIGN

Stainless steel, bamboo, recycled plastic, activated carbon

The powder-coated stainless steel won't absorb smells and is free of hard-to-clean crevices. The rectangular design  makes it easy to slide food waste from a plate or cutting board and with the  bin’s soft-padded bottom, you won’t have to worry about scratching your countertop.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Dishwasher-safe stainless steel bin. Just put it on the bottom rack for a quick refresher and a solid cleaning. Hand wash recommended to preserve coating

The lid and handle do best with a thorough wash in warm, soapy water.

Help keep your bamboo handle gorgeous by avoiding any prolonged soaks and using a natural cream or oil to restore its natural glow.

Well made

So far, so good. Buyers need to realize that composting will not be completed by the time it needs transferring to an outside unit.
