This container was just right for my small kitchen and the amount of waste generated by two senior citizens. Easy to empty and clean. I would personally prefer to get rid of the hanging hook, or let it be an option. Also would love a lid or cap or some kind. But overall the best product I've tried.

I've been looking for a freezer-safe, small/medium sized food waste bin for some time. This is a grate size, it fits in my freezer perfectly and works well for 1 person to empty it weekly. The soft rubber lets me knock my cups and dishes clean without risk of chips.

I have been using this for about five years now and absolutely love it. Love never having to smell my compost or worry about gnats, and it takes up so little space I used it when I lived in an RV. So handy to use during food prep, and the silicone makes it easy to release the frozen mass when dumping it outside. I also believe that freezing the scraps helps them decompose faster since it breaks down the plants' cell walls. I recommend it to everyone I ever discuss composting with.

We use these as accessory storage containers in our car and Camper van. The rear hook arm enables it to brace against ledges and hold accessories such as electronic cords, hand gel, cell phones. This frees up our cup holders from double duty. It works so well we bought five more after our first one.

This beats a countertop compost bin, hands down. Eliminated the gnat and smell problem. Easy to clean, but I use with compost bags. My only wish is that it was taller/deeper to avoid having to empty as frequently.
