When microfiber cleaning products first came on the scene, it seemed like a magic material. It picks up every speck of dust, is gentle on electronics and stainless steel, and paved the way for chemical-free cleaning.
The only issue? It’s essentially made from plastic…Most of the microfibers available today are extremely inexpensive, which unfortunately means they’re also produced in an inexpensive and irresponsible manner which leads to the shedding micro plastics.
Thanks to technology, we’ve found ways to recycle polyester (also known as PET, the material used to make most water and juice bottles) and use it to create microfiber that performs just as great as we expect it to.
By partnering with a supplier with extremely advanced recycling and manufacturing processes, we were able to develop a line of recycled microfiber cleaning cloths that are just as functional as they are sustainable.
Still not convinced? By reusing and recycling a material like microfiber, we’re diverting waste from landfills that otherwise could not be repurposed. Talk about a win-win.
Additionally, producing recycled microfiber uses around 50% less energy than conventional microfiber, lessening our carbon footprint while still letting us provide you with an awesome product.
